This razor got amazing reviews, which is why I bought it, but there is no way I can give it a 5 star rating. I have to admit though it must be very difficult to make a product like this that can please ALL people. Every man's skin is different and the reality is there just isn't the "perfect" electric razor out there, at least I can't find one. This razor is good but not exceptional. A lot of reviewers talk about the one-pass shave, but for me it takes several passes to get a close shave, especially on my neck. If I'm not careful with the amount of times I go over an area I can overdo it and cause a rash. It does a much better job on my face and I can get pretty close on my cheeks, chin, and upper lip area but the neck is always a challenge and sometimes requires me to break out the mach 3 blade. I like this razor because if you need a quick dry shave you can get it done with no hassle and it does a good job for the most part. I also experimented with doing a "wet" shave and had a similar experience as I stated above (i.e. all areas of the face are pretty close but not the neck). I'm assuming that it's just my skin that is causing the problems because when you read some of these "rave reviews" there are only 2 possibilities: 1) they work for panasonic or are getting paid by panasonic or 2) they really have a great experience with the razor.
